I came across some old folders on my laptop and found this very interesting pics.. it’s food time!!..
well, I’m a person who prefer to spend out my bucks on food rather than shopping those outfits or bags or shoes or those girl things.. ah, I’d spend out on travelling definetely!!..
so this restaurant bar is an Italian restaurant on the next city of mine, it’s in Surabaya – the biggest town on my region. Back on 5 years ago when I lived in Surabaya, this La Rucola restaurant was always on my top list to chew those Italian foods. Owned by Italian guy with his Indonesian wife, they managed it to build a perfect place where you can dine and enjoy those wines and anything from the bars..
I ain’t talking about any better or worse Italian restaurants in Surabaya tho, I’m simply fall in love with this restaurant 😀 and for sure, I’d go crazy there and will lost my mind to order this and that 😀 greedy one!!
they even put the layout of the dishes on the counter bar, just to attract people’s attentions first and the rest.. that’s your call.. 😉

with all those dishes, I might choose to have them with some wines. But I guess that time I prefer to enjoy some cold light cocktails.. just to make it light 😉
oh well well… the nest time I’m coming to Surabaya again, this place will be on my top list to visit again, yumm!
After my boyfriend went up to Semeru peek last week – it’s the highest mountain peek on Java island – I thought I might reopen some of my pics where I’ve been up there last year.. oh well, I didn’t make it to the top tho, lol!.. Just less than a half way up, I already gave up and decided to stay on the lake in the middle of somewhere on the mountain area..
That was pretty amusing as it was the very first time I planned on going up such high things.. uhm, mountain I mean.. Stuffs already packed, gears already prepared, and food already set up. But the fact when we’re on the real spot, we’re totally fucked up muahahaha.. I was like barely walk and probably had my zombie look-alike even for half way up!!.. couldn’t imagine more what would I be if I insist going up back then.. I might do some mountain slides aka rollinng fall down to the valley , duhh!..
Oh well, I just wanted to share those breath-taking views 😉 Ranu Kumbolo lake!!!..
and my favourite spot where I shouted over and over and heard back those strange voices from any animals (?)… anyway, it’s just mesmerized me!!..
unbelievable scenes and moments away 🙂 can’t ask for more than those tranquil phases… ohm…
ah, I might introduce you some person who managed the trip went very well up there. It just me being over self-confidence and bet that I could beat Semeru peak, while everybody else could make it up there.. oh well ,I might not a mountain person and I chose to stay on the lake and did some dip there hehe..

that was my first impression when I first saw a piece of Rainbow Cake on a pattisserie in my place, for me it’s just too cute to be broken by a quick swing from my spoon.. but, what can I do? I’m just too hungry at the same time hehe..
so since I’m still in adoring-mood for this cake, I tried to make one and voila.. not so bad tho 😉 it just need more cream to cover the cake and between the layers, but anyway, it’s so yumm
Every year here in my city, Malang, there’s annual festive to celebrate the anniversary of the city which held around May. Near the end of the month, there’s always a street festive where a long road closed and changed into old traditional setting with colonial touches. And often, this festive held for few days with many traditional attractions.. for sure, it’ll be such a mass crowded on the street, ugh!..
And for this year, it is not only a usual festive like those years, there’s also an action to develop Malan ginto heritage worl site which later will be put on the queueue list for World Heritage Site nomination. And this project called MALANG JATIDAYA
on this project, Dwi Cahyono as the one who submitted Malang as the nomination, asked a thousand volunteers to repaint and clean up some old colonials building along Kayutangan street. Which I’m sure all people who managed this project to succeed definetely are genius people, as they know and realize how to maintain those heritages sites that left by the time!!.. it’s a matter of being aware tho..
people came from different communities and backgrounds, young and old, students and politicians. They are all among those whom aware and willing to spend their time on taking care things surrounds them which probably had left behind or left untouched.. and then, time to paint the wall!!..
and even people who passed by the road interested to know what was going on… or just asked to get captured.. ayayay…
oh well, we’re simply in love with our own city, yay!!!!!… hugs for everyone who manage their time to get involved on this project 🙂

this year, I’ve been craving for real summer!.. a real summer weather with only clear blue sky and sun kisses. No clouds, no cold breezes, and no storm (important!).. so I guess I might need to wait for a couple while waiting summer comes (it’s still May, my god!)..
dealing with this summer addiction, I re-opened my files and found some old pictures on beaches and it helps me to hold this beach-freak ,lol.. summer, do come soon!!
